On 08.03.2022, we organized an action in Rathenow on the occasion of Women’s Day. About 200 people came, mainly refugee women with children, many of whom live in shared accommodation. The aim was to draw attention to the grievances in the accommodations in Havelland, to criticize the hardly taking place integration, the non-transparent and complex procedure of issuing birth certificates and residence permits and to ask the district administrator Roger Lewandowski to initiate concrete changes. Organizers of the action were Refugees Emancipation, Women in Exile, Seebrücke Potsdam and Pangea Projekt.
